Located in central Virginia, the Inn at Meander Plantation is an award-winning historic Inn on 80 acres. Meticulously maintained, Meander Plantation is truly a special place that will live forever in your memory! I had the opportunity to visit the inn and stay a little while for dinner and it was hands down one of the best meals I’d ever had. The service was impeccable and the Southern-influenced chef-prepared meals were all paired with superb Virginia wines. The inn is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds are lovely and perfect for summer walks (pet-friendly, too!) With its historically significant past and its location on a hill with spectacular mountain views and breathtaking sunsets, the Inn truly exudes the essence of Virginia. Located close to Orange and Charlottesville, the inn is a short drive to Monticello and Montpelier, as well as the multitude of Virginia attractions right around the corner, including several award-winning wineries and distilleries (Barboursville, Reynard Florence Vineyard, Horton Cellars Winery, etc.
Every bit of this dining experience was sublime. I can’t recommend this place enough for a special weekend celebration. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable and the five course meal was one of the best I had ever had. The ambiance is perfect and romantic. It is truly a special occasion you will never forget. The grounds are amazing with million dollar views and the hiking trails are well marked while still being drenched in local history. A great place to get away for a weekend or longer and unplug from the stress of everyday life.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of dining at this Michelin-star rated restaurant, and I promise you, it lives up to its awards! The Inn at Little Washington was awarded two stars by Paris-based Michelin Guide, one of only three restaurants in the Washington, DC Guide to earn this honor (Two stars continues to be the highest ranking awarded to any DC area restaurant.) Chef and Proprietor Patrick O’Connell was knighted as a disciple of Auguste Escoffier, “the King of Chefs and the Chef of Kings. The Inn is surrounded by some of the best wineries not only in Virginia but in the US, many of whom are featured on The Inn’s award-winning wine list. The Middleton Inn is a spectacular Inn in a spectacular location. It’s a beautiful antebellum house with lovely period touches, but what was most noticeable about it for me was the wonderful hospitality we received here. The Inn is a short walking distance from the Inn at Little Washington
